Type sizes: mainline: 12pt standard, 18pt script, body copy: 8pt.
Letterheads
Size: 8½” x 11″ • Margins: ½” on top and sides, 3/8″ on bottom.
Type sizes: adjusted to ensure proper proportion.

Print Ready Files

we also require that you send us an order form online or by fax
• Disks – submit files on a CD, zip disk, or flash drive
Business cards and posts cards will be UV coated on front side unless otherwise requested.
Preview the file you submit, especially those you accept from your customer. Files improperly prepared or having missing elements or problems will be delayed and may incur additional preparation fees. All full color images must be in CMYK format.
General Layout Requirements
To ensure your order is printed without delay or additional charges follow these guidelines.
• 1-up composite – one copy per item, one item per page
• Actual size – document size reflects final product size
• Colors used are CMYK, not RGB
• Fonts are outlined or embedded
• 1/8″ inner margin – anything that doesn’t bleed should be 1/8″ from edge of product
• 1/16″ Bleed – art that bleeds should extend 1/16″ beyond the edge of the product
• Black text is 100% black
• Photos & raster images are 300 dpi minimum and saved in a TIFF format
• Use the mainline of your order for your file name. Do not use common names such as business card.pdf, logo tiff, card eps, etc.
File Types Accepted
• PDF – from any native application. For best results use the
PDF/x-1a2001 settings in Acrobat Distiller and include 1/16″ bleed
• EPS – fonts outlined, images embedded
• TIFF – high resolution, 300 dpi minimum
• Native Applications: Submit your file as a PDF. If using Quark avoid using the export to “Layout as PDF.” Instead print to Postscript and use Acrobat Distiller’s PDF/x-1a2001 settings to create a PDF with 1/16″ bleed

The card to be produced is at least two colors, and one of the colors remains the same. Or the card to be produced is 2-sided and has a common side that does not change.
There is a secondary process, such as foil stamping or embossing that does not change.

Imprinting on Shells
After your Shell stock has been printed, the task of imprinting is fast and easy. Generally imprints are text information. There are two ways in which imprint orders can be placed listed below:

Orders for SUDO New Mexico require one to two additional days’ transit. Turnaround times are based on standard business days with orders ready for production. SUDO is not responsible for delays caused by FedEx, UPS, or U.S. Mail. Special order stocks, specialty printing, high quantities, etc. require extra time. Delivery schedule is subject to change. Rush charges will apply to orders needed before scheduled delivery times.
